This work presents the theoretical grounds for the analysis of I.C. engine operation properties under random conditions. The results of theoretical considerations are illustrated by the tests of non-repeatability of motor-car engine’s ecological properties (due to pollution emission and fuel consumption) under conditions of the driving test according to the ECE R83.05 regulation.
